Harinder Singh Harinder Singh is a co-founder and the Chief Programming Officer of the Sikh Research Institute. He addresses Sikh, Panjab and South Asian issues throughout the world through articles, workshops and presentations. His activism spans the context of contemporary realties as expressed in art, linguistics, development, theology, and politics. After an aviation career, his work since 1997 has focused on education as a fulcrum for social change. He provides inspirational consultancy for films, curriculum, conferences and exhibitions. His passion is to learn and share the Sikh culture. He also serves on the boards of Sikh Research Institute Canada, Panjab Digital Library and United Communities of San Antonio.

Jasmine Kaur Jasmine Kaur is the Sikh Research Institute’s Director of Education. She has worked in the education field for 15 years. Her degrees are in elementary education, sociology, human development and family studies. Her passion is developing creative & interactive activities for all ages, especially young children. Jasmine devotes her energies to developing and implementing workshops for parents and children, designing and presenting Liv webinars, and serving as the lead coordinator for Sidak—SikhRI’s unique and highly popular two-week leadership retreat. She is the chief coordinator for Sikh Educators Network—a site dedicated to supporting those working in the field of Sikh education worldwide through resource availability. Jasmine was part of the core team which initiated development of the lesson plans for SikhRI’s Sojhi curriculum, and is the lead for all matters related to Sojhi and teacher trainings. Her articles on activities for children, the future of Sikh education and reflections on her own experiences growing up Sikh in Japan, India, Canada, and the US have been published online and in print.

Varinder Kaur Varinder Kaur manages SikhRI's San Antonio office. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Vancouver. Besides taking care of all operational needs and serving as the main hub of contact for the office, she is especially interested in educational opportunities for couples-- chances for families to achieve a closeness with the Divine and to renew their commitments and passions as true Sikhs.

Surender Pal Singh Surender Pal Singh works as Research Associate with the Sikh Research Institute since April 2007. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medical and a Master’s degree in English. He is the India Coordinator for SikhRI programs and also a lead in Gurbani Linguistics book program. His input is critical in the development and refinement of Sojhi, Liv and Saneha programs. Singh feels that his research work helps him to explore his roots, culture, identity, and gives him a stronger sense of purpose. He has been heavily involved with various religious, educational and human development organizations in different capacities since 1997. Currently, he also serves as the Project Coordinator of Panjab Digital Library in a volunteer capacity.

Sara Stroo Sara Stroo has been working with SikhRI since 2006. She is a graduate of Trinity University and currently lives in Oregon where she is working on a masters in Journalism at the University of Oregon. She serves SikhRI remotely as their Communications Coordinator, a job that makes her responsible for editing articles, writing copy for flyers, press releases and the website, designing e-mails, managing SikhRI's social media, taking lead on some projects for publication, managing marketing efforts for the Sidak leadership retreat, and putting out the monthly newsletter, annual report, and other publications.

Harliv Kaur Harliv Kaur is a Sojhi curriculum developer with SikhRI. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Cal-State Fullerton and a second BA in Elementary Education from Upper Iowa University, earning specialized credentials in English as a Second Language from Kansas State University. At SikhRI, she has been an active courseware developer for the Sojhi Elementary School curriculum and creates programming for families and resource materials for educators. Besides her work with SikhRI, she founded Kikli, a company committed to developing fun and innovative tools for learning Panjabi including "Ik Chota Bacha & Other Sikh Nursery Rhymes," a collaborative project involving the Ujjaldidar Singh Memorial Foundation.

Santbir Singh Santbir Singh is an instructor for SikhRI. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. He has taught and spoken at retreats, conferences and youth camps for well over a decade and a half now. He is an avid student of Sikh history and tends to focus on Sikh inspirations for social activism, especially human rights and gender equality, as well as trying to reach a more critical analysis of Sikh history from a wide variety of different schools of thought and resources.

Lali Pawa Lali Pawa is the coordinator for Sikh Research Institute-Canada’s operations. She handles event planning and promotion, the press, outreach and networking, and other activities associated with the Canadian chapter of SikhRI’s operations. She also works as a Legal Educator and Program Coordinator for the Court Information Program for Immigrants. She has extensive experience as an event coordinator for other organizations, including the "We Can" BC Campaign, and as a Buddy/Youth Coordinator for Alcohol & Drug Prevention services.
