Naujavan Sojhi - Love: Experience the Divine

Join us as Jasleen Kaur, SikhRI Researcher, leads a Naujavan Sojhi Session at Sikh Heritage Month BC for Sikh teens and explores the meaning of Love in the context of cultivating a personal relationship with Ik Oankar, and to think more about our personal Sikhi journeys.

Objective : The objective in this session is to explore the meaning of Love in the context of cultivating a personal relationship with Ik Oankar, and to think more about our personal Sikhi journeys.

NOTE: This program is age restricted and is intended for youth aged 14-18 only.

About the speaker:



Jasleen is a double UVA grad in Religious Studies, focusing on South Asian Religions and the conception of religious identity through the lens of literature and poetry. She is currently working as a Research Assistant with SikhRI, taking part in the design and delivery of Naujavan Sojhi, a course for Sikh teenagers. She is passionate about projects that create comfortable spaces for community members of all ages and backgrounds to engage in dialogue and learn from one another. She hopes to eventually go back to school in pursuit of a PhD in either religious ethnography or history, and fulfill her dream of teaching and learning from others.
