Kulvir Singh, Board Chair, SikhRI Canada, will be talking about Sikhi & Business Leadership. We address what our Guru's did, what Gurbani says, and practical application of their message.
Parminder Singh, CEO, LifeLens Technologies, will be leading an open panel discussion. He will be sharing his journey as a Sikh Entrepreneur and how he has used Gurmat to inspire his actions. Ramandeep Kaur, Partner, Stikeman Elliott LLP, will be moderating this discussion.
The open panel discussion will begin with a conversation between our speaker & moderator, followed by an open & safe conversation with all of our guests.

About the Speakers:
Parminder (Par) Singh has more than 25 years of professional experience in building, operating, and managing international businesses for private companies, government clients, and multi-national corporations around the world. He is the currently the CEO of LifeLens Technologies. Par was the Managing Director fo the Microsoft Canada Development Center (MCDC), located in Richmond, British Columbia. Par was responsible for establishing the Center and setting its strategic direction. Today, the Centre is one of the premier software development locations for Microsoft. Par also served as the Director of Business Development and the General Manager for Xbox where he provided strategic direction, developed go-to-market strategies, and led negotiations with major manufacturing and content partners. Par sits on Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of British Columbia and DigiBC and is an advisor to Canada’s Centre for Wireless and Digital Health Innovation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Nova Scotia and lives in Surrey, BC, with his wife, three children, two dogs, and an occasional goldfish.
Kulvir Singh is a Senior Principal with Clareo Partners, a growth strategy consultancy based in Chicago. Previously, he worked as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman and with Barrick Gold Corporation in their organizational effectiveness practice. Kulvir has been actively involved in the Sikh-Canadian community. He has served in leadership roles with the Sikh Centennial Foundation, Spinning Wheel Film Festival, and Toronto Sikh Youth Retreats. He is a co-founder of Mississauga’s Seva Food Bank and Sikhs Serving Canada. Kulvir also serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the William Osler Health System Foundation and is on the board of Habitat For Humanity – Brampton. He is currently The Chair of Sikh Research Institute, Canada. He was a 2011 Action Canada fellow and is a recent recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. He holds a B.Sc. and a B.Comm. from the University of Calgary and currently lives with his family in Brampton.
