Children's Curriculum – 2018

With summer at our doorsteps, now is a great opportunity to plan a few educational family activities for the next few months.

Play is important, no doubt, but so is accepting Gurbani as part of everyday life and learning to ask the right kind of questions. Questions that are explored in Gurbani. For that to be a part of your journey, SikhRI composed a summer curriculum to engage the whole family and especially children.

SikhRI’s summer curriculum consists of three courses: Barah Maha, Seva, and Guru Granth Sahib.

Barah Maha is a folk poetry style that expresses our desires in terms of the changing seasons of Nature. The course is intended for kids from 11 years old.

Seva is a journey of exploration in the light of Gurbani–Wisdom, Tavarikh–History, and Rahit–Lifestyle, suitable for kids above 5 years old.

Guru Granth Sahib is a comprehensive course dedicated to learning the history and profound wisdoms of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. For kids between 7–15 years old.

All courses are available online free, so your whole family is able to study at your own pace. Sign up for one of these summer curriculum courses today!

Let’s learn together.
