We spend our lives in the pursuit of happiness, looking for whatever we believe will satisfy, be it wealth, success, love, popularity, or excitement. Too often we either fail to achieve our objective, or when we do, it leaves us unsatisfied and we search for more of the same, or quest for the different. At other times we grapple with misfortunes such as illness, conflict, or financial strain. In this way we find ourselves, for most of our worldly life, tossed about between pleasure and suffering. In this webinar, we will look at Gurbani's advice in this pursuit, while exploring the difference between transitory pleasures that we pursue and what Guru shows us to be true happiness. Using Gurbani we will then investigate strategies of Infinite Wisdom for transcending pleasure and pain and achieving what can really be called happiness.
